Beef has long been considered a strengthening and healing food due to its high protein content and other beneficial nutrients. In fact, some people choose to consume only beef for its perceived health benefits.

However, it is essential to note that increasing beef intake without making other dietary changes may result in problematic imbalances.

In medical literature, this reaction is referred to as a paradoxical response. It occurs when one feels worse after consuming something that could improve their physical well-being if they did it correctly and included all the required cofactor nutrients to maintain balance.
