Eggs As A Super Food

Table of content

Kiki is a holistic approach to health and wellness that is centered around whole foods. Rich in nutrients and designed to work together, these foods are undenatured and most effective when consumed raw.

By focusing on a diet of whole foods, supplements are no longer necessary, as the body is getting the nutrients it needs from its natural source.

Eggs are a prime example of a complete food that is beneficial to our health. Not only are they designed to grow a baby, but raw eggs are also less allergenic than milk, especially when just consuming the yolk.

These little powerhouses are excellent at detoxification and relieving constipation, a common symptom of blocked detoxification and bile flow. Plus, they're easily digestible and can even be eaten right before bed without interfering with your sleep. It's amazing what whole foods, like raw eggs, can do to nourish and heal our bodies.

Nutritional Content And Benefits

Research found that whole egg consumption boosts pathways of glutathione, conjugation, methylation, glucuronidation, and detoxification of reactive oxygen species.

Here are some of the nutrients in eggs, not even a complete list.

Copper: Zinc   1 egg:  .36 mg to .65   That's a 1:2 closer to an ideal ratio than the 1:15 given the official RDA.

Ideal ratios depend on how long one has been copper deficient: Zinc is more abundant in commonly eaten muscle meat. Copper is in eggs and organ meats not eaten in as high amounts.

  • Vitamin D

  • Vitamin K2

  • A (Toxic A occurs when the cofactor of red light of the sun spectrum is overwhelmed by the blue light of artificial lights. Vitamin A digestion includes light through the eyes.)

  • Omega 3 fats

Antioxidants:

  • Selenium
  • Vitamin E
  • Lutein
  • Zeaxanthin
  • Glutathione precursor amino acids:  glutamate, glycine, and cysteine.

    B vitamins:
  • Thiamine (B1)
  • Riboflavin (B2)
  • Pantothenic Acid (B5)
  • Biotin (B7)

    Methylation:
  • Methionine
  • Folate
  • B12
  • Choline is a methyl donor that also makes another methyl donor: Betaine anhydrous or trimethyl glycine, TMG.

    Bile flow:
  • Cholesterol
  • Lecithin
  • Choline

Choline
Egg yolks are probably the best source of choline, a nutrient with many important roles.

  • Converts to acetylcholine in the brain. Cholinergic. For brain fog.
  • Helps with the nervous system communicating with the gut, like through the vagus nerve.
  • Choline is a major methyl donor:
  • Lipid metabolism in the liver.
  • Muscle strength.
  • Cell and mitochondrial structures.

Eggs hold a powerful key to supporting the many phases of detoxification and providing our cells with a broad spectrum of vital nutrients. These superfoods are packed with vitamins, minerals, and some of the most precious fats known to us.

The synergistic benefits of eggs are strikingly unique and cannot be found in isolated supplements. However, it is crucial to note that consuming raw eggs may not be suitable for beginners with underlying health issues, as detoxing can be a powerful experience.

Despite common misconceptions, salmonella poisoning from eggs is nothing more than a myth- a myth that we put to the test. Interestingly, eggs may have a fermented value as well and are known as "100-year eggs," a metaphorical name dedicated to their alleged ability to promote male fertility to that age.

For some, embracing the power of eggs may take a paradigm shift or be a new and unfamiliar experience. Nonetheless, their nutritional profile is nothing short of remarkable.

Healthfully,
